Christ College Student Residence, Cambridge
The new student residence adjoins Christ College, Cambridge University, to the north and is located close to the city centre. It forms the first phase of a complex that will later be significantly extended to the west. The entire complex rises in terraces from south to north and drops steeply towards the street to the north with an overhanging, recessed wall. Large, landscaped, triple-tiered roof terraces occupy the two lower levels of the base building, above which are the four terraced residential floors.
