Outdoor Swimming Pool in Düren

The elongated changing room complex of the Düren outdoor swimming pool was constructed as a largely two-storey, timber-framed building supported by stilts. Its longitudinal design follows the gentle slope of the terrain, and at the end, it extends slightly into the water, allowing the German Lifesaving Association's motorboat to be launched from there. The basement remains partially open, while other parts are filled with reinforced concrete structures housing the showers, technical rooms, storage areas, and administrative offices. The changing rooms and lockers are located on the level, staggered upper floor.
