Ice Sports Stadium Munich/Oberwiesenfeld
The entire ground floor and its ceilings were constructed of cast-in-place concrete. Particular attention was paid to ensuring sufficient bracing in both the transverse and longitudinal directions. Due to structural requirements, the entire hall is divided into eight sections. Two joints are present in both the longitudinal and transverse directions of the hall, ensuring that the maximum length of any single section does not exceed 36 metres. Reinforced concrete walls were incorporated at these joints within the usable spaces; these walls also serve to absorb wind loads.
