In Holsten, south of Dortmund, an elongated plot of land near the forest, suitable for one- or two-storey construction. Owned by a family with three children, plus a separate apartment. The floors are staggered so that the garden-facing living area lies midway between the entrance level and the bedroom level. The entrance level also includes the separate apartment and a double garage. The bedroom level extends underneath; halfway up, the living room is reached; a fireplace separates the living and dining areas. Half a level higher are the bedrooms and children's rooms. The shed roof level contains a guest room and a daughter's room; a recessed balcony area is located in front. Projecting wooden sunshades provide shade.
