The strong architectural accents of the exterior wall construction derive their functional significance primarily from the fact that, in each parapet area, at a height of approximately 850 mm and with a centre-to-centre spacing of 1110 mm, double-shell copper parapets with integrated storage boxes for the external 80 mm louvered sunshades were installed. The parapet elements were designed in a box-like form. The ends were closed off with deep-drawn copper plates, projecting approximately 100 mm beyond the line of the parapet units.
