Timber Frame Roof Elements for a Concert Pavilion and a Garden Cafe
The canopies for a concert pavilion and a garden café were erected at the 1967 Federal Garden Show in Karlsruhe. Architect: Dipl.-Ing. Gernot Kramer, Karlsruhe; collaborators: Chr. Blomeier and H. G. Böhler; structural engineer: D. Kunzmann. The roof elements in both cases, as well as in the entrance canopy shown in the images below, are similarly constructed from battens and boards covered with plastic or linen.
