The building for a medium-sized hosiery factory was to be erected at a competitive price and within a relatively short construction period of only six months. Requirements included closed exterior walls and sufficient natural light for the workstations and shelving units via skylights. Furthermore, materials requiring minimal maintenance were to be used. A construction method using predominantly prefabricated elements in reinforced concrete was chosen.
