Administrative Building in Toronto
The three-storey building has a full basement and is founded on strip and column foundations. The basement ceiling is made of reinforced concrete, while the upper floors consist of wide-span steel girders with a concrete topping and reinforced concrete slabs in the central core. The accessible steel girders support suspended acoustic ceilings. The entire floor area is column-free and divided by movable partition walls. Windows, entrance doors, and the cladding above the entrance doors are made of aluminium profiles. The deep window lintels are clad with asbestos cement panels.
