Scratchwood Motorway Service Area, England
Design concept: The main building is divided into a grill restaurant, a regular restaurant, a self-service cafeteria, and a quick-service café. All areas are supplied by a shared kitchen. An interior garden is visible from the restaurant, cafeteria, and entrance hall. A shopping area allows drivers to purchase groceries and reading material. Construction: To avoid a large local construction site and to expedite construction, the building was erected using precast concrete elements.
