Location: The building is situated in a predominantly residential area of Mainz. The design, including its placement, proportions, and colour scheme, aimed to subordinate the building's form to the primary function of this zone. Function: The building serves for the packaging, storage, and distribution of pharmaceutical products and enzymes. Storage and staff rooms are located in the basement (daylight is required). Deliveries are made via a ramp. Packaging takes place on the ground floor. Access for deliveries at a height of 1 metre had to be ensured. The administration, laboratory, and caretaker's apartment are located on the first floor.
