Company Parking Garage in Munich
Construction Program: Bayerische Motorenwerke AG (BMW) in Munich needed to quickly construct a parking garage for approximately 1,600 employee vehicles; the overall construction program envisioned buildings with 4,500 parking spaces. A building site of approximately 6,500 m² was available, allowing for buildings up to 13 m high. Planning and Execution: Following thorough studies, including an analysis of the surrounding traffic situation, particularly the outflow traffic, a parking garage based on the d'Humy system was chosen. This system uses four ramps to access traffic within seven levels, providing a total of 1,586 parking spaces.
