Laminated timber trusses form the supporting structure of the freight depot and the station building. In the station building, with a covered area of 25.80 x 113.00 m, the roof rests on glued timber pendulum columns on the street side and on a solid wall on the track side. The gable ends of the building are timber window walls with parapets made of thermally insulated asbestos cement panels. Due to the timber construction, the roof has a certain degree of inherent movement (wind and snow load), so interior partition walls are flexibly connected to the roof structure. Timber sections running perpendicular to the trusses slide between two trusses and are flexibly connected to the roof by the ceiling sheathing.
