Prototype for a Hospital Nursing Bed Construction
This model development was commissioned by the American Health Service and the American Hospital Care Corporation. The architects write: Introduction: A new type of hospital was to be developed to meet the increasing demand for hospital beds and to fill the gap created by the aging of previous facilities. However, a large proportion of the beds are intended only for patients who do not require full hospital treatment with its high associated costs.
