The planning for the newly founded educational institution took place at a time when neither a teaching staff nor a definitive curriculum existed. Therefore, spatial layouts and building designs had to be developed that could accommodate the anticipated tasks and changes as flexibly as possible. The variability sought by the architects made it possible to finalize the room layout only three months before the main building was occupied, based on the teaching staff that had since been selected.
