From an educational and urban planning perspective, the architect chose a pavilion system for the complex. The five pavilions—each with a square footprint measuring 12.60 metres on each side—along with a central building (community hall and kitchen), the administration building, and the house parents' apartment, are grouped in a stepped arrangement on a platform. Large green spaces with walnut trees surround the settlement. Thanks to the steel and glass construction, the interiors of the houses open up on all sides to the harmonious outdoor space of the residential garden.
