School for Physically Disabled Children in Poplar/London
During their time in the main school area, the children are shielded from the traffic area of the park courtyard by the kitchen and the administration wing. At the centre of the area is the medical department, where the children can receive prompt care if needed; daily treatments are also carried out here. The library is located next to the playground for the younger children, for whom it also serves as a passageway (this is intended to help them overcome any apprehension they may have about this space later on).
