Parking Garage with Office Wing in Munich

On a very confined inner-city site (between a remnant of the city wall, a late Gothic church, and a central bank), parking for approximately 360 vehicles had to be created. Roughly half of the spaces are located below ground level, the remainder in parking decks above. An office wing is attached to the street frontage. The resulting building height, like the architectural design, harmonizes with the surrounding buildings. Construction: A reinforced concrete frame infilled or clad with brickwork. The brickwork is faced with a half-brick-thick layer of clinker bricks. The parking garage is ventilated by vertical slots with vertically oriented, perforated clinker bricks.
