Housing Group in Madrid
This building had to be erected under rather unfavorable conditions: land consolidation resulted in an elongated, triangular plot, for which a building area of 58 m in length and 18 m in depth had already been designated. Furthermore, construction in brick was predetermined. Based on the fixed position of the building block on the plot, the required program of 24 apartments, and the requirements and possibilities of brick construction, the architects primarily aimed for a differentiated articulation and staggered arrangement of the building.
