House in Gummersbach
A concrete slab foundation rests on gravel with raised concrete supports for the load-bearing shear walls made of calcium silicate bricks. The foundation slab is insulated against moisture and for thermal insulation with a 3 cm mat. The entire house has asphalt paving. The calcium silicate brick walls are grouted inside and out and painted white. There is no plaster. The foundation was poured in 2.50 m wide sections using the same formwork.
