Typical Residential Building in Aerated Concrete Element Construction
Regarding the construction: The foundations, extending below the frost line, consist of rammed concrete B160 or calcium silicate masonry. The exterior walls are constructed of wall-height Hebel aerated concrete panels, 50 cm wide and 20 cm thick, bonded with Disbon plastic adhesive. Interior walls are also made of 50 cm wide Hebel aerated concrete panels, with the thickness adjusted according to structural requirements. The floor slabs consist of 12.5 cm thick reinforced Hebel aerated concrete panels with a 40 mm asphalt screed. Beneath the floor slabs is a gravel fill and an approximately 20 cm ventilated cavity.
