Cold Storage Warehouse in London
Building and Space Program: The building, designed for the storage of meat and dairy products, is located on the south bank of the Thames. Due to the limited space available, a maximum building height of approximately 33 metres was stipulated, corresponding to five operational floors. The aim was to achieve the largest possible storage capacity for flexible use. The ground floor contains a work area, loading bays, cold storage rooms, and offices. Each of the four storage floors houses two cold storage halls and a work area. In total, the building comprises approximately 10,000 square metres of cold storage space within a volume of 25,000 cubic metres.
