Indoor Brine Pool in the Spa Centre of Bad Rappenau
Spatial and construction program: The local conditions and operational functions suggested a building that was as compact as possible. This is reflected in the two-storey structure, the upper floor of which houses the indoor brine pool (10 x 20 m) with adjoining terraces, while the ground floor contains the changing rooms. The building is connected to the circular spa treatment centre via a covered walkway. At the front of the indoor pool is the central point containing the lifeguard's cabin and the staircases leading to the changing rooms, restrooms, and an adjacent promenade hall on the ground floor.
