New Train Station Building in Ottawa

Ottawa's new railway station, completed in 1966, replaced the city's more than 50-year-old terminus, which had to make way for the redevelopment of Confederation Square and the main business district. The complex consists of a main hall with a steel truss roof and side wings housing a restaurant, cafeteria, administration offices, staff sleeping quarters, and lounges. A tunnel leads to the platforms.
