Austrian Pavilion at the »Premier Festival International Du Livre« in Nice 1969
Austria only decided to participate in the Nice Festival at the beginning of April 1969, leaving approximately two months for the concept and execution of the pavilion's architectural and graphic design before its opening on May 31, 1969. The result was a demountable pavilion with a footprint of 71 m². White-sprayed aluminium columns were anchored at the base by infill panels of pine wood block paving and stiffened at the top by a grid of pine wood panels.
