Conference Centre in Kyoto
The six floors, supplemented by a wedge-shaped top floor and a two-storey penthouse, comprise a total floor area of 27,079 m² and are constructed from steel-framed prefabricated reinforced concrete elements or standard reinforced concrete slabs. The steel frames were used to reduce construction time and costs and to create the required external fire-resistant concrete covering, which was to be as thin as possible.
