Warehouse in Wangen near Olten/Switzerland
The goal was to roof a usable area of 13,500 m² with an economical sawtooth roof structure in the shortest possible time. The architects' design specified spans of 25.20 x 8.40 m for each sawtooth unit. The entire roof surface is therefore composed of 64 individual, identical sawtooth roofs. The aim was to avoid the generally awkward, modular appearance associated with prefabricated structures.
