Regarding the room layout: Around a centrally located hall (B) with break rooms and work areas on the ground floor and administrative offices on the upper floor, the following are grouped according to their respective functions: To the north (C) and west (O) are the isotope and X-ray departments (both at ground level for radiation protection reasons). To the south is the lecture hall wing, with two lecture halls connected by a slope to both the ground and upper floors of the central hall (E). To the east is the laboratory section (A), where all teaching units that could be sensibly stacked are grouped together.
