Association Training Centre near Helsinki
The training centre of the Finnish industry associations is intended to provide further education for managers in Finnish industry through courses lasting two to seven days. A small estate on a lake, approximately 30 km west of Helsinki, was available as the building site. The terraces and gardens remaining from the former estate were incorporated into the design. To integrate instruction, sleeping, and leisure activities into an intensive learning environment, several dormitory buildings were planned for a total of 250 participants.
