Student Residence Complex "the Lawns" in Hull/England
The site was a park-like area surrounded to the north and south by large belts of trees. The park landscape was to be preserved. The plan, to be implemented in phases, encompasses a total of twelve dormitories, a community and service building, adjacent parking areas, 14 houses for teaching and administrative staff, a laundry, and the necessary service buildings; the existing residential area is also incorporated. The new dormitories are arranged around the main square, with access from the outside and a pedestrianized central zone.
