Treatment Centre for Alcoholics at Centre City
Construction: The buildings are all single-storey. The masonry is load-bearing, and the concrete foundation slabs and ceilings (Spancrete-Midwest Comp.) were prefabricated. The walls consist of red facing bricks, covered with concrete slabs tinted to match the bricks. Inside, some walls are finished as exposed brickwork, while others are constructed of lightweight concrete blocks. Various partition walls are clad with dark-stained oak planks, and the walls in the bathrooms are tiled with ceramic tiles.
