The waiting room is enclosed except for the opening facing the bus stop. The rear retaining wall, constructed of sand-lime brick, compensates for the difference in elevation to the surrounding terrain and also serves as a windbreak. Two longitudinal beams rest on six steel columns anchored in the ground, supporting the roof slab. Welded reinforcing bars anchor the retaining wall to the steel columns. Planks laid at right angles to the longitudinal beams form the cantilevered roof slab, which is sheathed with spruce boards on the underside and tongue-and-groove boards on the upper side.
