The outer edge of the shaft is 9 m from the control building, to which it is connected by a cantilever slab. At a height of 29.45 m, the functional floor cantilevers out by 9.85 m (from the shaft axis). The functional floor itself has a clear ceiling height of 3 m; this is in addition to the slope of the cantilever and the concrete slabs of the atrium. The tower shaft penetrates the functional floor and forms the superstructure for the control platform and its walkway at the top.
