Railings and Balustrades
1. Bank parapet at the International Horticultural Exhibition Hamburg. Alternating smaller and larger U-shaped square tube elements were embedded in the concrete; they are distinguished from one another by black and white paint. 2. Railing of a concrete slab footbridge at the IGA Hamburg. Square parapet profiles are welded to the square supports. Here, too, emphasis is achieved through the colour contrast.
