The house stands alone on the south coast of Sweden, separated from the sea by a strip of pastureland. The best views are from the living room, the master bedroom, and the kitchen. - Construction: Load-bearing timber frame, clad inside and out with pine. The exterior cladding has acquired a silvery-grey hue from the salty sea air; it was then treated with a water-repellent solution. The interior paneling, with the exception of the kitchen and bathroom, remained untreated. The supporting columns of the glass facade are made of glued laminated timber; they also serve as frames for the insulated glazing. Electric forced-air heating with ducts on the exterior wall.
