The house is situated on a north-facing slope. The living area, despite this, is on the same level as the garden, with varying ceiling heights. A second area is located in the basement; it serves as a relaxation zone with a swimming pool, sauna, and social space. The third, the service area, is at street level, built into the hillside and includes a garage, heating system, and utility rooms. The walls extend far into the surrounding greenery, creating distinct spaces. The living area is intended to be enclosed, yet designed to enhance the intensity of the surrounding landscape: to the north, the vine-covered slopes of the mountains; to the west, the rolling hills of the Weidling Valley; and to the south, the belt of woods, meadows, hedges, and shrubs.
