Mainburg, as the district capital with a large agricultural hinterland, needed a district agricultural vocational school with workshops. The site slopes from north to south, and the building program was accommodated in two structures, clearly separating the noisy workshops from the classrooms. The slope was utilized to position the two building wings. The client stipulated that the school be built using local materials. Exposed brickwork, wood, and brick were used, with the exposed brickwork whitewashed and all wooden elements painted with dark brown Xylamon.
