Savings Bank Branch Hausen near Offenbach
The square, single-storey building, measuring 32 x 32 metres, is designed as an atrium structure. The bank vault, a freestanding concrete cube, stands in the 10 x 10 metre inner courtyard. The building is characterized by its transparency; the vault, illuminated at night, is visible from the outside. Partition walls have been largely omitted. The foundation is a reinforced concrete slab, and the steel columns of the exterior walls extend to ground level. The bank branch also features a drive-through teller window.
