National Theatre in Tokyo
This building houses various theaters and event halls, a library, administrative offices, and other facilities. Two floors are underground, and three above ground. The load-bearing structure is made of concrete. The exterior is uniformly structured with concrete block units suspended in front of the concrete walls. This construction echoes a form found in traditional Japanese wooden architecture.
