This building houses the Yamanashi Radio and Television Station, a newspaper publishing house, and a commercial printing plant. Each of these businesses has its own specific functions; they share other functions, such as intelligence facilities and general utilities. The design also required flexibility in space utilization and the possibility of future expansion. The building has two basement levels and eight above-ground floors; the fourth floor features an open-air lounge. The entire structure is made of reinforced concrete.
