Ceiling Elements
With relatively little construction effort and expense, plasterboard panels can be used to create, among other things, highly textured ceilings that effectively regulate acoustics and simultaneously give the ceiling surface a three-dimensional structure. Installation is carried out either directly on the structural ceiling or on suspended substructures. The panels can be nailed to wooden battens, screwed or riveted to metal angles, or glued to masonry. The joints can be left visible, filled flush with joint compound, or covered with trim.
