Train Station in Tilburg/Holland
The building, constructed at a cost of 26 million Dutch guilders (approximately 28.5 million DM), consists of a structure of twelve hyperbolic paraboloid shells spanning a total floor area of approximately 46.2 x 147 metres. The roof rests on ten supports spaced 50.4 metres apart. The roof extends over the forecourt, beneath which the more or less freestanding station buildings are grouped into a single complex.
