Community Centre near Hanover
The community centre was built as the first phase of construction. The steel frame structure of the hall is glazed on the south side, while the north side is infilled with rough-sawn timber. This material is repeated in the west gable. Reddish-brown, textured facing bricks were chosen for the masonry (both inside and out), and the mortar joints are dark. All ceilings (made of planed tongue-and-groove boards) are lightly stained. The roof is a warm roof and covered with dark grey tiles.
