Swimming Pool with Climate-adapted Roof Construction
The indoor swimming pool is located in northern Sweden, 1100 km north of Stockholm. Due to the harsh winters, the following roof construction was implemented: Prefabricated roof beams rest on equally prefabricated supports. The beams are covered with on-site manufactured concrete slabs. These are insulated on the outside with 12 cm of mineral wool. Above this is a ventilated air space. The roof is covered with wooden beams and sheet metal.
