House in Cincinnati
The rectangular floor plan, with a footprint of 12 x 22.5 m, is built on a 1.5 m grid. The two-storey building contains the living areas on the upper floor, with a large adjoining terrace. These rooms are accessible at ground level from the mountain side via the main entrance. The lower floor houses the bedrooms and storage rooms. On the mountain side are two outbuildings with garages and storage rooms. Regarding the building structure: a steel frame made of lightweight rolled sections with column spacing of 3.0 and 4.5 m. The exterior walls on the valley side are made of glass in steel frames, while those on the mountain side consist of plastered brickwork.
