Buildings in the Transport Exhibition, Munich 1965
The entrance pavilion houses the central information point of the German Federal Railway. A massive concrete roof rises above the pavilion, resembling a platform canopy and introducing visitors to the world of railways, along with the signaling equipment. A large model railway, a particular attraction, is set up inside the pavilion, featuring a fictional layout as well as a true-to-life reproduction of the track layout of Puttgarden station and the Fehmarnsund Bridge.
