A reinforced concrete frame structure with a timber-framed facade. The facade is constructed of Merbau wood (an Afzelia species from New Guinea). The vertical timber struts extend to the full height of the story. The window sills are clad externally with fibre cement glass panels and internally with painted fibre cement panels, with cork insulation in between. The building's end walls feature brickwork. The interior partition walls of the offices are also constructed of Merbau wood.
