Office Building in Dordrecht/Holland
The architects developed the basic concept for this building based on the following considerations: The glass office buildings so common today, with their large glass surfaces that appear visually open to the outside, often suggest a connection between the workplace and nature – however consistent and compelling their design may be – that doesn't actually exist. To make such buildings functionally habitable, one often has to install sophisticated air conditioning systems and keep the windows covered.
