The 27,000 GRT ship, capable of speeds up to 17 knots, was built by the Wilton shipyard in Rotterdam using an existing hull and engine layout. It operates on a regular service between Southampton and Australia. The "Fairstar" has a capacity of 1,780 passengers and is equipped with state-of-the-art technology.
