Station Ticket Hall in Mixed Construction
The 24 identical, prefabricated shells measure 5.40 x 5.40 m. Due to the favorable inclination (height profile per unit and angle of curvature of the shell), the stresses in the shell panels remained very low. Factory gluing made it possible to produce a shell from only two layers, which were laid diagonally and glued together completely; the necessary pressure was achieved by nailing, which is why the layers could not be too thin.
