Stair Railing in Steel
In this railing, U-shaped round bars are inserted from below through the concrete steps and welded to the handrail at the top. They are attached to the steps using cover sleeves. Architect: G. Schmidt, Bielefeld. Two stair railings at the Konstanz State Technical College. Constructed of square bars with flat steel diagonal bracing. Architect: Prof. Barth, Konstanz. Three stair railings made of a strong square tube frame with thin round bars. The load-bearing steel tube supports are inserted through the frame members and welded at the bottom.
